About movie
For the purpose of filming, the decoration of the Orthodox Church of St. Cyril and Methodius was built at the Barrandov Studio in a scale of 1:1, in which most of the action scenes of the film took place.
In the church there were installed and then fired incredible 3000 squibs, we shot about 10,000 dust balls from paintball weapons and also realized 30 imitation of grenade explosions.
During the hot summer days and with the support of hundreds of lights, the temperature at the studio floor reached up to 70 degrees Celsius.
Scenes in flooded crypts were filmed in the Barrandov Studios. The crew filmed here for three days in a meter and a half deep water that was heated all the time.
